Ashley Holden, DPT, CSCS

Ashley has a very diverse background that includes sports rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and post-surgical therapy. Her educational background includes: B.S: Bachelors of Science in Biology- Loyola University Chicago, Chicago, IL (2002); D.P.T: Doctorate of Physical Therapy-Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL (2005); and CSCS: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (2005). She is a licensed State of Illinois Physical Therapist, who is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Baseball Rehabilitation, and Women’s sports interest groups.

Ashley has continued to improve her skills through continuing education. She has attended courses in Jones Strain/Counterstrain I for the Spine, Post Motor Vehicle Accident Cervical Dysfunction (NAIOMT), Segmental Stabilization for Low Back Pain, The Thoracic Spine (NAIOMT), The Lumbar Spine (NAIOMT), Comprehensive Management of the Throwing Athlete, Functional Orthopaedics I (IPA), Clinical Reasoning in Differential Diagnosis (NAIOMT), Gary Gray Chain Reaction Transformation, Sport-Specific NSCA Conference, Peripheral Manipulation (NAIOMT), Lumbar Spine Stability, PNF I (IPA), Female Chain Reaction, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Assessment and Treatment of the shoulder, Symposium for Women’s Health and Physical Therapy, Vestibular treatments.

Ashley has worked in the outpatient orthopaedic setting for the eight years. She has had experience with post-surgical patients ranging from Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty, Total Knee and Hip Replacement, Spinal surgeries, ACL reconstruction, and other surgical interventions. She also has interest in treating chronic pain patients, women’s health issues as well as getting athletes back on the playing field. She has also written strength and conditioning programs for local baseball, soccer, and tennis teams and individuals.

Ashley is accepting new patients and has office hours in the Addison, Braidwood, Channahon, Joliet, Oak Park, and Plainfield Elite Rehab locations. Please call each office directly to check her availability.
